Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has cooled talk of a move for Juventus midfielder Emre Can.

Ancelotti has appeared to rule out a move for former Liverpool midfielder Can.

The Toffees were linked with a shock move for the Juventus player last week, but when asked about Can ahead of tomorrow's game against Newcastle Ancelotti said: "I think at the last press conference I said that all the names that were [in] the newspapers were wrong.

“I can say the same today – they are wrong. All the names that were [in] the newspapers are wrong.

"All the names that are on Sky are wrong."
