Everton boss Allardyce 'not confident' about staying: No smoke without fire

Everton boss Sam Allardyce admits he's not confident he'll be in charge next season.

After defeat at West Ham, Allardyce admitted on Sunday night that he is unsure over his future.

Allardyce is under contract for another 12 months but gave a curt response to questions on his future following the game at the London Stadium.

When asked about his future, the Toffees chief said: “Contract for next year. Confident? I can't quite say confident after all the rumours I'm reading in the paper.

“Generally there's no smoke without fire. We'll wait and see when we meet up."
