Everton's board are standing by manager Frank Lampard during the World Cup break.

It's been claimed Everton directors are discussing Lampard's position this week after a disappointing season so far.

However, Football Insider says the Londoner is safe and they will stand by their manager through the World Cup recess.

They want to give him time to turn results around.

Lampard and Everton are currently in Sydney for a mini tournament involving Celtic and Western Sydney Wanderers.
