Everton are eyeing Pescara defender Edgar Elizalde.

The 18 year-old Uruguayan is being watched by Everton and Juventus ahead of the January market.

Elizalde could leave Pescara before the U20 South American Championships, which will be staged in Chile in the New Year.

The defender is expected to use the tournament as shop window, unless Pescara sell before then.

While Juve are keen, it's suggested Everton are the youngster's most concrete suitors.
