Manchester United's Jonny Evans said last night's 1-1 draw with Benfica is a decent result for their opening Champions League match.
The Red Devils had eight changes made to their starting line-up and it clearly affected them as their Portuguese opposition began in a flurry and opened the scoring through Oscar Cardozo in the 24th minute.
But thankfully for United, veteran Ryan Giggs hammered home a 42nd minute leveler and Evans says it was decent to get a result from a very hard place to travel.
"People underestimate the difficulty in going away in Europe," Evans told the club's official website.
"It's early in the season. It is hot here and a lot of players hadn't played as the manager obviously changed the team.
"As it was probably our toughest away game of the group, you can say it was a good result."
