Qualifying for Europe should always be an Everton objective, says midfielder Leon Osman.

He told evertonfc.com: "European football was our aim at the start of the season.

"We looked at what we could achieve and obviously trying to win the title was unrealistic but Europe is a realistic target and that should always be our aim.

"We have achieved it this year and so we are really pleased."
