Sevilla have skipped through to the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League final after comfortably accounting for Fiorentina.
The Spanish side went into the semi-final second leg with a three-goal advantage after last week's 3-0 triumph at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and it didn't get much better for Fiorentina on Thursday night.
Goals from Carlo Bacca and Daniel Carrico inside the opening half-hour had the Sevillistas with an almost unbeatable five-goal lead which la Viola could make absolutely no headway.
Unai Emery's Sevilla won 5-0 on aggregate to book their place in the final which takes place in Warsaw on May 27.
Joining them in the Polish capital is Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk who edged Napoli 2-1 on aggregate after the second leg on Kyiv.
The Ukrainian side defeated Rafael Benitez's Partenopei 1-0 courtesy of Yevhen Seleznyov's 58th-minute goal to send them through to the decider following last week's 1-1 draw in Naples.
It was a dark night for Italian football with both Serie A clubs crashing out of Europe's second tier club competition just 24 hours after the excitement of Juventus defeating Real Madrid to progress to the Champions League where they will meet Barcelona in Berlin on June 6.
