Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, on more than one occasion of late, has been accused of disrespecting his opponents.
The Wales ace received criticism for his comments about Atletico Madrid prior to the Champions League final and has now spoken negatively of England ahead of Thursday's Euro2016 meeting between the two British nations.
But Wales boss Chris Coleman has played down the comments from Bale and insists that his star player has always walked the walk whenever he previously talks the talk.
He said: "If you look at the Champions League final, Gareth made a comment about Atletico Madrid. But then he played really well and scored a goal.
"I don't think he has got a problem with backing anything up. I think he looks forward to the great challenges, the big spotlight, and the pressure.
"He will be relishing this challenge on Thursday."
Wales will face traditional rivals England in Lens in a much-anticipated Euro2016 clash later this week.
