EURO2016: Vardy praises England team spirit for Wales win

England striker Jamie Vardy needed just ten minutes from his substitute's appearance at half time to level the scores at 1-1 against Wales, leaving another replacement Daniel Sturridge to claim the winner in added time.

Despite his goal scoring exploits the Leicester striker admits he is still not guaranteed a place in the starting line-up for the next game.

"Everyone wants to be a part of the starting lineup but it is a team game, we are all in this together and when you come off the bench you want to make an impact and luckily I did today.

"We thought we were playing well. The message was simple - to carry on doing what we were doing and hopefully the goals would come and they did.

"We just want to take each game as it comes, we got the win today and hopefully we can win the next game."

As to whether he will start in the next game? "We will have to wait and see. I will be trying my hardest in training and we will see in the next game."
