Euro2016: Bale happy to sacrifice game for Wales benefit

Gareth Bale says he does not necessarily have to go and get the ball when Wales take on England this week.

The Dragons meet the Three Lions in Lens on Thursday in their second Group B fixture at Euro2016 and all the talk has been centred on how the English will stop Welsh winger Bale.

But the Real Madrid star insists he may not even have to be completely involved in the play in order to help Chris Coleman's side.

"I'll just move the player out the way and create some space," he said.

"It doesn't bother me if I don't get the ball, I will stand on the wing and he can stand next to me and there will be a massive hole in the middle. It doesn't matter if I'm good at getting on the ball, if I create space maybe that is more important for the game.

"I will do whatever for the team. Most important is to get the victory."
