New Everton striker Samuel Eto'o has backed former Inter Milan teammate Mario Balotelli for success with Liverpool.
At Inter, former manager Jose Mourinho dubbed Balotelli "unmanageable" - and Eto'o acknowledges that the young striker did have his mad moments.
"You could say he might have gone off-piste a little bit on occasions," he admitted. "But I think it's only right now to give him the benefit of the doubt. He is more experienced both as a person and as a player.
"I think he will bring some very positive contributions to Liverpool."
