Estudiantes ace Juan Sebastian Veron could make a sensational return to Lazio.

The Argentine veteran has been linked with the Rome club and he said: "My return? Lazio is in my heart and so I do not rule out anything. It was the most important stage of my football career and I am proud to have worn this shirt."

The former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder added: "The idea of returning to play for the club that made me excites me and I am happy that people are so excited about my hypothetical return.

"I do not know whether I really can come back to Rome. I feel I can still give so much to football and I can still have my say."
