Estudiantes chief Agustin Alayes admits they hope to keep hold of Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.

Rojo joined Estudiantes in January on-loan.

Alayes told Infocielo: "In June the contract ends and he has to return to Manchester.

"We're in contact with the people who represent him, because we all made a great effort and we would very much like him to continue. But until the picture is clear, it's difficult to say something concrete.

“Any chance that Marcos continues, we will take it. It's a little bit what he wants."
