Espanyol striker Raul de Tomas is on the radar of Barcelona before next week's transfer deadline.

New Barça coach Ronald Koeman has told the club he wants a No.9 to complete his attack following the sale of Luis Suarez to Atletico Madrid.

Speaking after the 4-0 win over Villarreal, Koeman said it's always good to have different options further forward, although added he would conform with what he's got if no one new arrives.

Lyon striker Memphis, out of contract next summer, is his first choice but De Tomas has emerged as a possible fallback option if that deal cannot be done.
