The double in the 3-0 Euro qualifying win marked a stunning debut for the 32 year-old.

He later said, “I still cannot believe it. It's the best a player can wish for.

“Hard work pays off, that's what gives me strength to continue. I feel like an 18-year-old boy!"

Joselu earned his call from Spain coach Luis de la Fuente on the back of 12 goals this season for Espanyol.
