Espanyol president Daniel Sanchez Llibre has opened the door to defender Dani Jarque leaving at the end of the season.

Tottenham and Liverpool are chasing Jarque and Sanchez Llibre admitted: "If the day came when a club paid Dani's buyout clause, then Espanyol and their supporters must understand that the career of a player is short and a big contract can change his life."
