Espanyol-owned goalkeeper Pau Lopez has revealed Tottenham are in talks to re-sign him for next season.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper did not make an appearance during his season-long loan spell at White Hart Lane but Spurs are still considering bringing Lopez back to the club.

“We'll see what happens," he told Onda Cero. “The clubs are talking and I can't say anything.

“Espanyol is my home. It's the club that I love, that I'll always have in my heart, and whatever happens, I'll be happy.

“At the end of the day, it's my home, where people like me and appreciate me, and it will always be my home."
