Espanyol has dismissed interest from English clubs for striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
It has now been claimed in Spain that Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic were both looking at a possible January deal, whilst giants Juventus and Real Madrid have also been linked.
Espanyol sporting director Ramon Planes said: "Osvaldo's performance has not gone unnoticed and we know that it is followed closely by clubs in the Premier League and Italy.
"The agent of Osvaldo is aware he is being watched, but as we said there has been no concrete offer. Nobody has come with a financial offer to us."
Despite the reported interest from Blackburn and Wigan, Osvaldo is believed to have told his agent that he is not keen on moving to England.
"He is very happy here," continued Planes. "He is young and has found the confidence needed."
