Espanyol striker Joselu defended winding up Barcelona fans during their 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp.

Joselu made a 'shhh' gesture to the home support when scoring for the Catalan rivals.

He said on Sunday: “It turned out like this. You have a lot of adrenaline, you receive many insults, they remind you a lot about your relatives and a lot had happened in the previous 24 hours.

“And in the end, you get the rage inside you.

“Simply, I wanted to send a message to the pericos who were able to come but not enjoy wearing our shirt. We feel the same pressure."
