Espanyol captain Sergio Garcia is set to join Qatari club Al-Rayyan in the coming days.

Garcia scored 14 goals in 35 games for Espanyol last season, however the club confirmed on its website that the 32-year old would not be returning next season, with Al-Rayyan his most likely destination.

Garcia has spent his entire career in Spain, with stints at Barcelona, Real Betis and Real Zaragoza to go with his five-year stay at Espanyol.
