Cypriot Second Division club Ermis Aradippouce have expressed interest in former Liverpool and Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse.

Now 38, Cisse has declared he wants to come out of retirement and play in Ligue 1 next season in a bid to reach 100 league goals. He's currently on 96.

But Ermis Aradippouce president Lucas Fanieros has made an offer to former Marseille star Cisse about move to Cyprus.

He stated, “Our goal is to make sure that he fights under the colors of Ermis Aradippouce. We spoke to him yesterday (Friday) and he is sure to return to action on behalf of Ermis.

"Cisse may be 38, but he is in much better shape than many players. He runs every day, he trains and he is in good condition. It will definitely be a great transfer for the club and perhaps one of the three biggest in Cypriot football."
