Former Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has travelled to Iran over discussions to become the next coach of Persepolis, according to the Iranian club and media. Eriksson arrived on Iran's Kish Island, in the Gulf, on Wednesday and the negotiations had begun, the Persepolis website said.
Eriksson flew to Dubai after the negotiations yesterday, according to state news agency IRNA.
"He will later announce his decision on our proposal," Persepolis football club president Mohammad Rouyanian was quoted as saying.
