Former England and Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has distanced himself from the managerial position at Fulham.
The Swede, currently in charge of the Ivory Coast national team, has been linked with the job at Craven Cottage with Roy Hodgson expected to be unveiled as the new Liverpool boss very soon.
But Eriksson said he had not been contacted in regards to taking over at the London club.
"Fulham? Well, I heard the rumours but there is no fact behind it," he said.
"They have a brilliant manager and I don't know if he will stay or go to Liverpool.
"So far there is nothing though. I can 100 per cent confirm that."
