New Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has defended the club's visit to Thailand and their decision to play a friendly against the national side. The players flew out on Wednesday and Eriksson met up with his team on Thursday ahead of the game on Saturday.
Eriksson feels it is a chance to forget their struggles in the Championship.
"It's good," the Swede told BBC Radio Leicester. "Maybe it's like a new start for the club. I think it's very good to have one week away from everything."
The Foxes are third from bottom in the Championship table with just two wins from their opening ten games.
