The father of Ajax whizkid has launched an amazing attack on Chelsea. The 19-year-old - who is rated between £10million-£13million - is being chased by Europe's top clubs, including Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Eriksen actually had trials at Chelsea as a 15 year-old.
His Dad insists he is happy his son did not make the move to Stamford Bridge and advised other starlets against a move to west London.
"Chelsea thought he [Eriksen] was too weak and not that great," claimed Eriksen's father Thomas.
"They wanted him to have a third trial - but I said no to that. They had time to consider him.
"But it suited us just fine because it was not the right place for him. The English mentality does not work, they are completely cold with the way they deal with players.
"If there is one player from the youth team that goes to the first team they are happy. They are indifferent to all the rest.
"The training facilities are good - but kids should not go there."
