Jose Enrique admits he's happy playing for Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan.

The Spanish fullback told the Evening Chronicle: "Since Kevin Keegan has arrived, I have played much, much more.

"My confidence has been boosted a lot by this and the fact that the manager has faith in my ability. I have played many games under Kevin."

And, speaking on the support of the United faithful, he added: "I have to say that our fans stand out so much when we play in the Premier League.

"You can hear them at the home games - and at the away games even more than the host club. There is a big difference in the supporters here at Newcastle than anywhere in the Premier League.

"Even in the pre-season games they have been very loud and behind us all of the way."
