There are calls for Chelsea captain John Terry to be axed from the England squad. Terry has denied racially abusing QPR's Anton Ferdinand and his trial was yesterday set for July 9 which is after the Euros finish.
But Jason Roberts, the former Blackburn striker who has just joined Reading and is a well-known radio pundit, says Terry should be axed from the squad until the case is over.
The Sun says in a series of tweets, Roberts said: "I have seen the Ferdinand case has been put back. On this basis I do not believe that the England captain should go to the Euros.
"Innocent until proven guilty is not always the case in football as Rio found out in his case. Also more importantly, believe me, the dressing room at the Euros could be toxic."
