England start ends early as Man City midfielder Delph experiences more hamstring pain

Fabian Delph had a very early night as England defeated Switzerland 2-0 at Wembley on Tuesday night.

The Manchester City midfielder was subbed off just three minuted into the Euro2016 qualifier after injuring his hamstring just nine seconds into the contest.

The 25-year-old has not had a pleasant start to life as a City player following his £8million move to the Etihad Stadium from Aston Villa, after initially deciding to remain at Villa Park.

Delph sustained a hamstring injury in his first appearance for City in a pre-season friendly against Real Madrid in Melbourne and is now expected to spend a lengthy time on the sidelines with this fresh problem when pulling up lame in the centre of the pitch moments after kick-off.
