England coach Fabio Capello admits he could never take the Inter Milan job.
Capello has won the Scudetto at Milan, Roma, Real Madrid and Juventus, though Don Fabio was also one of the prime candidates for the Nerazzurri job for the past two years.
"There are clubs you are never able to join," he told news agency ANSA.
"I was 18 years old and Helenio Herrera asked Angelo Moratti to sign me, but the President of my then-club Spal said no.
"Other times we were close, but it never quite reached a conclusion. There's nothing we can do. It feels like hitting the post from point-blank range, as you know it's just not going to go in. I'm like that with Inter."
