England boss Steve McClaren will go with Aston Villa captain Gareth Barry in his midfield for tonight's clash with Estonia - ahead of Chelsea's Frank Lampard.

"We had a tough decision to make this week because having Frank back was a big boost to us," said McClaren.

"He has performed consistently well for England over many games and many years. But it's about picking the best team to get us three more points and the competition for places is there.

"Gareth has come in and done a fantastic job in the last two games. I had made my mind up by Tuesday and that never changed."
