Liverpool midfielder Emre Can insists he can be a leader under manager Jurgen Klopp.
The German midfielder initially found life tough with the Reds following his £9.75million move from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014.
But he told the Liverpool Echo: “I was a very young when I came to Liverpool and now I'm growing into a man," Can said.
“Of course I had to change my style after I arrived in the Premier League because if you come to England, you have to play a more physical type of football. You have to play quicker as everything is faster here. I had to learn that.
“I think I have done well and I would say I am happy with my three years in England so far but I know I still have a lot of improvements I can make.
“I am getting older and I feel that I am taking more responsibility on the pitch and that's my target. I want to push the team and help us to play good football."
