Empoli teenager Levan Mchedlidze is enjoying the spotlight after the 17 year-old's goal on debut in Georgia's shock 2-0 defeat of Scotland.

"I know that my goal was big news in Italy and I understand that," Mchedlidze grinned. "I'm just happy that the goal helped the Azzurri.

"But most of all I am just proud to have scored for Georgia - it is an inexpressible feeling."
