Newly appointed manager Unai Emery has made his decision regarding two Aston Villa players ahead of the January transfer window.
The Spaniard has enjoyed a good start to life at the Villa Park stadium club, lifting the team up the table immediately.
Per transfer expert Ekrem Kounour, Emery has made a decision to not activate buy options in loan contracts for Jan Bednarek and Ludwig Augustinsson.
They will both stay at the club until the summer, when they will head back to Southampton and Sevilla respectively.
Emery wants to stamp his authority on the Villa squad, and will be hoping for backing in the January transfer window.
However, Villa have spent a lot of money in recent windows, and may have to sell in order to fund massive purchases, especially mid-season.
