New Arsenal boss Unai Emery expects to see Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos arrive as his first signing.

Reports have claimed departing Juventus hero Stephan Lichtsteiner is set to be Emery's first signing.

However, the Daily Mail say Sokratis is set to move first.

Sokratis could provide some much-needed solidarity having been a huge hit at Dortmund.

It is also claimed the north London giants have asked about Freiburg ace Caglar Soyunu. But the Bundesliga side want £30million to let the player go - something Emery is unwilling to pay.
