Juventus powerbroker John Elkann has never doubted Antonio Conte's commitment.

The coach talked up the prospect of leaving Juve towards the end of last season.

"I never feared that Conte would go away. The important thing was that he had the desire and the ambition we want.

"Conte has the desire to work and the desire to win," said Elkann.
