Elche coach Fran Escriba is aware of Premier League interest arriving for striker Jonathas de Jesus.

The 25 year-old Brazilian forward has been watched by West Bromwich Albion, where new manager Tony Pulis is eager to increase his attacking options.

Jonathas has hit an impressive seven goals in 19 games for Elche so far this season.

But Escriba insists: "There will be many rumours at this time of the transfer window.

"But we have a small squad and cannot afford to let anyone leave. There is not even a remote chance of that happening."
