Eintracht Frankfurt striker Kolo Muani on Martinez World Cup final save: I hate it; I will never forget

Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani admits he is haunted by his failure to convert for France in the World Cup final.

The 24 year-old cannot forget the one-on-one he lost against Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez in the final seconds of extra time in the World Cup final.

He admits to being "a little tired" of talking about the play, but also assures that it is something "that I will not be able to forget".

The Eintracht striker said the defeat to Argentina: "It could have changed my life. I would have preferred to leave it in the background, like everyone else, like all the French, but it happened and these are the whims of life.

"I keep watching the play and I see that I have many chances to score, but on the field everything goes too fast.

"I want to keep going because it's part of my job. It's not that I'm sad, but I'm never going to forget it… We were very close to bringing back the third star. I'm not going to lie, I hate it."
