Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche is under consideration at Liverpool.

The Reds will lose sporting director Julian Ward at the end of the season and Krosche is being considered as a replacement.

The Athletic says Paul Mitchell is a candidate, but Monaco are expected to hold onto him. He has a contract until 2024.

Another candidate is Krösche, who is currently under contract at Eintracht Frankfurt to 2025.

He was previously sporting director at RB Leipzig.
