Eintracht Frankfurt chief Bruno Hubner has welcomed their deal for Manchester United fullback Guillermo Varela.

The young Uruguayan is joining the Bundesliga club on a season-long loan.

Hubner stated: "Guillermo Varela is a very talented young player who has proven his qualities already with two absolute top clubs.

"We are convinced that he'll revive the competition within the team and of course, particularly in his natural position of right-back."

Before returning last season to United, Varela had a year on-loan with Real Madrid Castilla.
