Eden Hazard forced out of training at Real Madrid

Eden Hazard has been forced out of training at Real Madrid.

The muscle fatigue that was detected on Tuesday has turned into a much more serious problem, an injury that could keep him out for between four and six weeks.

As such, the Real Madrid forward will miss the first leg against Atalanta in the last 16 of the Champions League. He will hope to be back in time for the second leg in Madrid on March 16.

Hazard was able to take part in Wednesday's training session after failing to do so on Tuesday, but Marca reports the Belgian left training before Zinedine Zidane's session had been completed.

In addition, COPE reported that Hazard had undergone some more medical tests, having done some on Tuesday, which only detected an increase in muscle fatigue.
