Juventus have agreed a partnership with video game developer Konami to feature exclusively on eFootball PES 2020, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The deal means Juventus will not be officially licensed on FIFA 20, the latest edition of EA Sports' rival soccer video game series. Instead, the club will be called Piemonte Calcio, with EA designing its own badge and kit, though players will still be authentic and continue to have their live ratings updated based on real-world performances.
As well as having exclusivity on Juventus' name, kits and Allianz Stadium, PES 2020 will also get exclusive access to the team, using a full-body 3D scan to ensure even more realistic likenesses of the players.
The exclusivity will continue for future PES titles, with the deal between Juventus and Konami lasting three years
For EA Sports, it will be the first time in 25 years that FIFA has not held the licence to the current Serie A champions.
