Burnley boss Sean Dyche says there cannot be room for "mavericks" in his squad.
He insists such players in any playing squad must be shipped out on loan for the good of the group.
Speaking to cricket legend Michael Vaughan for BBC Radio Five Live, Dyche said: "If you get a group of acid all spraying acid everywhere that is really challenging. The biggest thing I think, talk to them individually, talk to them as a collective and make them realise the group is more important.
Dyche guided the Clarets to the Premier League last season as Burnley finished second in the Championship
"Assassins are mavericks, whichever way you look at it, sappers or energisers. The assassin or the sapper you realign them or they go, it's as simple as that. You can't have them around your group for too long."
