Palermo striker Paulo Dybala has paid tribute to president Maurizio Zamparini.
Dybala is grateful to Zamparini for bringing him to Europe.
"For me, being in Palermo was a new experience, but being here in general is wonderful. I want to always play at my best.
"Zamparini wasn't wrong to buy me, in spite of the criticism that came with my price-tag.
"He believed in me, he signed when I was still in Argentina and he defended me from criticism over his deal.
"When I saw him firing his Coaches I thought he seemed crazy, but he is a great person!
"I always played alongside [Franco] Vazquez. [Coach Giuseppe] Iachini gave us trust but I already knew he was a great striker.
"Playing alongside him makes everything easier, he always looks up and we understand each other right away. We're great friends too."
