Dutch youngster Ebecilio makes Arsenal move

Feyenoord teenager Kyle Ebecilio will become an Arsenal player on July 1 after the Premier League club agreed a deal to sign him.

The Gunners will have to pay compensation of his training costs, which will be around £500,000, for the highly-rated 17-year old.

Feyenoord were keen to hold on to Ebecilio but agree that it is the players right to move on if he pleases.

"We did what we could do by offering the kid a contract on time. But he wanted to wait, again this is his right. That he now goes to Arsenal, means that we only get a training allowance," technical director Leo Beenhakker said.

"This is the story of (Chelsea defender Jeffrey) Bruma, he was also a great talent that unfortunately never played for us. I treasure Ebicilio highly."
