Dundee United signing Gary Mackay-Steven has no regrets over his time at Liverpool.
Considering the stars he worked with at Anfield maybe it's no surprise the youngster didn't struggle to find a new club.
He told the Scottish Sun: "Liverpool was a great experience for me. I was training every day with world class players which was brilliant.
"I was in the reserves, but I trained with the first team quite a lot so got to work with guys like Steven Gerrard. He was just a normal guy who was really good at his job.
"The way he treated the young players was great. He was always there to pass on tips. Just training beside them was brilliant. You pick up so much being at a huge club like that.
"I was disappointed to leave, but it's just one of those things.
"I picked up a niggly little hip injury which didn't help me, but that's all part of football. I never let my head go down. I just wanted to work hard because I knew if I did good things would come of it.
"It's great my future has been sorted out. It's taken a while but everything's resolved."
