Newcastle United fullback Paul Dummett again shone in preseason action this week.

Dummett caught the eye in defeat to Rio Ave.

He has emerged as one of United's fittest players in pre-season and the 21-year-old has yet to miss a second of action in the two games played.

Toon boss Alan Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "He could have done better for the first goal but that was probably the only error he has made.

"I was pleased with him again."
