France World Cup winner Christophe Dugarry can't see Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema ever playing for the country again.

Les Bleus coach Didier Deschamps again snubbed Benzema for his latest squad last week, making it clear he isn't needed.

Dugarry told RMC: "I consider this to be a clear explanation. I would have liked Didier Deschamps to do it directly with Benzema rather than by the intermediary media.

"But Benzema also uses the social media to talk to Deschamps ... Now, things are clear.

"We're not going to see Karim Benzema again in the team of France."
