Dubravka plans long-term Newcastle stint

Martin Dubravka has admitted that he wants to stay at Newcastle for a long time.

The goalkeeper agreed a four year deal in the summer, after impressing on loan in the second half of last season.

And he sees his future at the club, even though he admits it may have something to do with how long manager Rafa Benitez sticks around as well.

"I personally enjoy every Premier League duel - and it was very difficult to get to this level," Dubravka told Slovak outlet SME Sport.

"I'm delighted to be catching up - and I believe the coach, Rafael Benitez, will persuade me to stay for a long time.

"The fans also support me a lot. I often hear my name and the exciting chants from the crowd.

"I use it to help me, I try to work hard on my own and give the maximum to the spectators."
