Royston Drenthe insists he wants to stay with Real Madrid.

The Dutch wing-back has been linked with Aston Villa and Fiorentina, but says: "Real is my club. I want to be able to contribute as much as I can to this team. I feel more confident than last year.

"I believe I'm stronger and I'm not interested in what people say about me. I want to reiterate that I feel stronger and I have absolutely no intention of leaving Madrid."
