Tottenham face a bitter relegation clash with Middlesbrough this weekend.

Missing out on a weekend of league action has tightened the relegation battle and facing Boro has added spice following a war of words between the club in January when Spurs tried to buy Stewart Downing.

Downing, who may still leave in the summer, stayed with Boro and will play a key role in their fight against the drop.

"The weekend opened it up again, Boro are in good form and Gareth Southgate deserves it," Spurs boss Harry Redknapp said. "But we are confident. Four wins should see us safe now."
